DR AISLING FEENEY

I qualified from University College Cork in 2004 with an Honours Dental Degree. Since then, I have worked in private dental practice starting in the UK and then Sydney, Australia before returning home to Cork.

My interest in facial aesthetics began in 2005 when I began travelling over to London’s Harley Street and also to Liverpool for hands-on training in facial aesthetics. Over the years I have attended many training sessions including advanced botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, skin boosters and bio stimulators to ensure I stay up to date with all new products and techniques. In addition, I attend aesthetic webinars on almost a weekly basis, along with conferences and hands-on training.

Patient safety is my number one priority and I ensure that all treatments are conducted using the most reliable and tested products with safe and predictable techniques to minimise any risks or unwanted side effects.  My aim is to spend time discussing with each individual their treatment needs and wishes to create a bespoke treatment plan that aims to address the client’s areas of concern whilst maintaining a natural look.

“Aisling’s approach is so refreshing - she focuses on subtle, natural results and always gives honest advice. I left feeling confident I made the right decision for me.”

FAQs

  • Facial aesthetic treatments are non-surgical procedures designed to enhance your natural features, improve skin quality, and create a refreshed, well-rested appearance.

  • Absolutely. The goal is always subtle, natural results—just a fresher, more confident version of you. Most clients hear “you look well” rather than “you’ve had something done.”

  • This depends on the treatment:

    • Anti-wrinkle treatments: typically 3–4 months

    • Dermal fillers: 6–18 months

    • Skin boosters: gradual improvement over a course of treatments

Your practitioner will guide you based on your individual plan.

  • Most treatments involve minimal discomfort. Numbing cream is used where appropriate, and everything is done as gently as possible to keep you comfortable.

  • Every client begins with a consultation. You’ll receive honest, tailored advice based on your concerns, facial structure, and long-term goals—never a one-size-fits-all approach.

  • Not at all. Ethical practice is key—you’ll only ever be advised on treatments that are appropriate for you. Sometimes that even means recommending no treatment.

  • Most treatments have little to no downtime. You may experience mild redness, swelling, or bruising, but this usually settles within a few days.

  • Skin boosters use hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate the skin, improving texture, glow, and overall skin quality. They’re perfect for tired, dull, or dehydrated skin.

  • Yes—treatments like polynucleotides or skin boosters can improve skin quality, hydration, and brightness under the eyes, helping you look more refreshed.

  • There’s no “perfect” age—it depends on your skin and goals. Some clients start preventatively in their late 20s/30s, while others focus on rejuvenation later on.

  • This varies depending on your goals and the treatments chosen. A personalised treatment plan will outline what’s best for you.

  • When performed by a qualified and experienced practitioner, aesthetic treatments are very safe. Your safety, comfort, and natural results are always the priority.

  • That’s completely normal. You’ll be guided through every step, with time to ask questions and feel comfortable before making any decisions.
